Meet Our Team

With over 18 years of hands-on experience in the civil earthmoving and mining industries, and 12 years as a dedicated trainer and assessor, I bring a wealth of knowledge, passion, and positivity to heavy vehicle driver training. My mission is simple: to produce job-ready students through training that's tailored to each individual's needs.

I've had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life—men and women from diverse cultures—and I pride myself on adapting my approach to suit every learner. Whether it's a light truck or a 400-ton excavator, I've trained operators across the full spectrum of machinery, always with a focus on safety, quality, and personal growth.

What drives me isn't the accolades or milestones I've achieved, but the success stories of the people I've trained and developed. Seeing students gain confidence, master new skills, and step into their careers is what makes me happiest.

I love people, I love teaching, and I'm passionate about creating a learning environment where every student feels supported, empowered, and ready to take on the road ahead.

As the Operations Manager, I manage the day-to-day running of the business behind the scenes. From coordinating business operations and finances to supporting students through the booking process. I am passionate about delivering efficient, reliable service that reflects the values of Northbound Commercial Training. We pride ourselves in ensuring each and every student feels supported and well informed before, during and after their training.

Outside of Northbound, I am a proud mum of 3 and, alongside my husband, co-run our small transport business, Cope & Sons Trucking. Before starting our own business, my husband spent over 10 years driving Multi Combination vehicles for various companies which has given me a strong appreciation and insight into the trucking industry, and the importance of being trained properly and being truly "job ready."

Family life is incredibly important to me, and we love spending time outdoors, encouraging our kids to connect with nature and grow up around animals. It's something we value deeply and try to incorporate into our everyday life.
