Light Rigid (LR)
Entry-level licence for vehicles over 8 tonnes GVM with two axles
Ideal For:
Perfect for starting your career in transport
Vehicle Types:
Large trucks, courier vehicles, small tippers
Medium Rigid (MR)
Step up to larger rigid vehicles with two axles and a trailer
Ideal For:
Ideal for local deliveries and municipal work
Vehicle Types:
Larger rigid trucks, small buses with trailers
Heavy Rigid (HR)
Drive the largest rigid trucks with three or more axles
Ideal For:
Opens doors to construction, waste, and heavy haulage
Vehicle Types:
Prime movers, large tippers, concrete agitators
Heavy Combination (HC)
Operate prime movers with semi-trailers and B-doubles
Ideal For:
For interstate and linehaul work

Australia's highest truck licence - drive any combination
